1964-2019
Eric Jahelka was a fellow brewer since his early days at Cal Poly, San Louis Obispo in the early 1990s. His dream was to semi-retire from his engineering career to open a brewery here in Idaho. In the last year, he and his wife of 30 years took their nest egg and invested into a 3-barrel brewing system and bought land along Karcher in Caldwell/Nampa.
Life is precious and fragile. Eric succumb to a sudden heart condition on June 10th. His widow, children, and family are reacting to this sudden and unexpected tragedy. While they are dealing with their grief, they are having to liquidate the asset acquired during this transitional time to create stability for their future.
